My name is Daquari Alane Deleon and I am the Executive Director of Louisiana Cares For Kids. We are having our Louisiana Cares For Kids Kick Off on July 31st from 7 p.m to 11 p.m. We would be honored if Mrs. Clakson would be our Guest of Honor.
Proceeds of this event are going to help the children and families affected by the oil spill. We have partnered with Feed the Children, a 30 year old global nonprofit relief organization that delivers food, medicine, clothing & other necessities to individuals, children & families who lack these essentials due to famine, war, poverty, or natural disaster. July 27th marks our first outreach of many to over 2,000 families affected by the oil spill.
